ANTONOVICH EXTENDS $10,000 REWARD FOR

INFORMATION ON SUSPECT IN WEST COVINA HIT AND RUN

LOS ANGELES COUNTY – Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich extended a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect responsible for the hit and run death of 55-year old Ralph Charles Granado, a Los Angeles County employee.

In addition, the Granado family has raised an additional $10,000, bringing the total award offered to $20,000.

On July 20th at 3:35 a.m. on Interstate 10, west of Sunset Avenue in the City of West Covina, Mr. Granado, riding westbound on a Harley Davidson motorcycle, was struck by a Toyota Yaris and ejected onto the number three lane.  The driver of the Toyota Yaris pulled over but the victim was struck again by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene.

The California Highway Patrol is seeking information to assist in their investigation.

Supervisor Antonovich encourages witnesses of this crime or anyone with information to contact Sgt. John Escobedo at the California Highway Patrol at (626) 338-1164.
