JUNE 17 THROUGH JUNE 24, 2008  MARRIAGE LICENSE STATISTICS

Acting Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean Logan reported 2,173 marriage licenses issued between June 17 and June 25, 2008 by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk.

Reports breakdown the number of marriage licenses issued and civil marriage ceremonies performed for each RR/CC office and the West Hollywood location as indicated below:

*PLEASE NOTE: These figures do not include Notary licenses issued. 

Daily breakdowns for marriage licenses issued and ceremonies performed are provided on the attached spreadsheets.  Additionally, the spreadsheets show statistics for the entire month of June 2007 for comparison.

Prior to the implementation of the court decision authorizing same-sex marriage licensing, the average number of licenses issued during the month of June was 194 per day.
