OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT TO SUPPORT FEDERAL AND LOCAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE AGENCIES AND SCHOOL DISTRICTS AT SCHOOL TERRORISM AWARENESS RESPONSE 2009 – MAY 16

 

WHAT:           County of Los Angeles Chief Executive Office (CEO) Office of Emergency Management (OEM) will lend support to Federal and local emergency response agencies and school districts by participating in a series of specialized training activities and panel discussions at the School Terrorism Awareness Response (S.T.A.R.) 2009. This year’s exercise and training event is sponsored by InfraGard, a private sector outreach program of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in partnership with the Center for Asymmetric Warfare. S.T.A.R. 2009 exercise and training is not open to the public.
