EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (CERT) ANNUAL REFRESHER
WHO: PERSONNEL FROM THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT’S COMMUNITY/LAW ENFORCEMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMS UNIT, LOS ANGELES COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND PARTNER OPERATIONAL AREA GOVERNMENT AGENCIES.
WHAT: OVER 400 REGISTERED VOLUNTEER COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (CERT) MEMBERS FROM THROUGHOUT LOS ANGELES AND NEIGHBORING COUNTIES WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE ANNUAL TEAM REFRESHER. CERT VOLUNTEERS WILL REFRESH THEIR SKILLS IN DISASTER SERVICE WORKER ROLES AND OPERATIONS, DISASTER MEDICAL TRIAGE AND TREATMENT, SEARCH AND RESCUE, AND COMMUNICATIONS.
