County employee Manuel H. Moreno recognized for being selected as a “2010 Premier 100 Information Technology Leader” by Computerworld magazine.
County Human Relations Commission Executive Director Robin Toma honored for receiving state award for civil and human rights accomplishments.
Chief Executive Officer Bill Fujioka asks to delay until March 2 a scheduled report on the impact the pending release of inmates from state prisons will have on L.A. County. (Item S-1, 11 a.m.)
Approval sought to issue $500 million in revenue bonds to provide financing for first-time homebuyers program to increase home ownership opportunities. (Item 1)
Supervisors Mark Ridley-Thomas and Gloria Molina request feasibility study of establishing a bond assistance program that would provide a line of credit to local small/minority/woman-owned contractors to help them qualify for construction contracts. (Item 3)
Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich requests extension of $25,000 reward for information leading to arrest and conviction of the two persons who assaulted a sheriff’s deputy following a traffic stop in Canyon Country on Nov. 11, 2009. (Item 8)
$250,000 proposal would partially restore the Arts Commission internship program for college students. (Item 11)
$432,000 proposal would fund additional consultant services to improve the quality of mental health services provided to children under the care of the County as part of the Katie A. lawsuit, upping total budget to $6.6 million. (Item 13, cont. from 2/9)

Permission sought to apply for four grants totaling $15.5 million to fund site improvement projects at 4th Avenue Park near La Puente, Hillgrove Park in Hacienda Heights, Martin Luther King Fitness Center in Los Angeles, and Charles White Park in Altadena. (Item 16)
Board asked to approve $125,000 settlement in lawsuit filed by Ericka Lauderdale alleging the Probation Department failed to engage in an interactive process or provide reasonable accommodation for an employee with disabilities. (Item 19)
Supervisors meet in closed session to discuss lawsuit arising from car accident involving employee of the Sheriff’s Department. (Item CS-1)
