Preliminary Hearing Setting

People v. Conrad Robert Murray

In the case of People v. Conrad Robert Murray, SA 073164, the matter is scheduled on Monday, June 14, 2010, at 12:30 p.m. in Department 107, for preliminary hearing setting and Medical Board of California’s request for restriction on defendant’s practice of medicine.  Department 107 is on the 9^th floor of the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center, 210 W. Temple, Los Angeles, Calif. 90012, Judge Michael Pastor presiding. This is a high-security floor with additional weapons screening.  Further, the 9^th floor is frequently a high-traffic area – obstruction of the hallway, even momentarily, will not be permitted.

        

           Limited seating for this matter is anticipated.  The Public Information Office will use the current Murray seating list.  Only those media organizations interested in attending who have NOT reserved a seat previously should call the Los Angeles Superior Court Public Information Office at (213) 974-5227 between 10:00 and noon, Friday, June 11, to register for courtroom seating.  Only one seat per media organization can be reserved. 

 

Media representatives should check in with a PIO staff member outside Dept. 107, at 12:00 noon. on Monday.

 

 Please be advised that filming and/or photography in the hallways, elevators, lobby and other public areas in the courthouse is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Requests to photograph the proceedings have been denied.
