County no longer will provide animal care services to Manhattan Beach

            The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control (DACC) would like to advise Manhattan Beach pet owners that DACC will no longer be providing animal control services to the city of Manhattan Beach. The city of Manhattan Beach has chosen to contract with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCALA) for their future animal control services.

 

            Effective July 1, 2010, Manhattan Beach pet owners should contact SPCALA for all animal related services and operations. The phone number is (310) 676-1149 and the SPCALA center is located at 12910 Yukon Ave., Hawthorne 90250.
