CS-1.     CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION

(Subdivision (a) of Government Code Section 54956.9)

 

Joe Oronoz v. County of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. BC 334027

 

This lawsuit challenges the constitutionality of the County's Utility User Tax ordinance.    (08-0281)

 

ACTION TAKEN:

 

The Board authorized settlement of the lawsuit entitled Joe Oronoz v. County of Los Angeles, et al. The substance of the settlement will be disclosed upon inquiry by any person as soon as the settlement becomes final following approval by all parties.

 

The vote of the Board was unanimous with all Supervisors being present.
