PATT MORRISON SCHEDULE

Tuesday, January 20, 2009

1-3 p.m.

1:00 – 2:00

It's Inauguration Time

It’s been a two year journey, from the declaration of candidates through the primaries and the grueling general election campaign.  Now that Barack Obama is set to assume the job he won on November 4th as President of the United States, the real work begins.  But before then, let’s party! Patt brings the Inauguration Day festivities to you from the perspective of Californians on the ground in D.C., and – of course – from you, KPCC listeners, watching history happen from afar.

KPCC Reaches Down Under

It isn’t just Americans that will be following the inauguration of Barack Obama—there’s probably as much if not more international interest in the incoming President Obama, as many countries welcome a fresh start on relations with the U.S.  Patt reaches 19 hours across the International Date Line to talk with the morning crew at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation station in Melbourne, Australia to see the Obama inauguration from a different, global perspective.
