NOTICE OF DATE TO SUBMIT ARGUMENTS

Centinela Valley Union High School District Special Bond Measure

Dean Logan, Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) gave notice that Centinela Valley Union High School District has called for a Special Bond Measure Election to appear on the Tuesday, November 2, 2010 General Election ballot.

Notice is hereby given that the last day arguments for and against the measure may be submitted is Monday, August 16, 2010.  Arguments must be filed with the RR/CC, 12400 Imperial Highway, Norwalk, 2nd Floor, Room 2013, no later than 5:00 p.m., August 16.

Arguments may not exceed 300 words in length and must be accompanied by signatures of not more than five authors.  Additionally, a statement signed by each author must be filed stating that the argument is true and correct to the best of his/her knowledge and belief.   One argument in support of and one argument in opposition to the measure will be selected.

Forms are available at the RR/CC’s Office or by calling the RR/CC Election Planning Section at (562) 462-2317.
