three additional items from Board of Supervisors meeting

These three items were not on the original Board of Supervisors Agenda Highlights sent today, but may be of interest to you.

 

 

Recommendation calls for reestablishing a $10,000 reward for information about the whereabouts of Mitrice Richardson, who disappeared after being released from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s station in Calabasas on Sept. 17, 2009, and for successful resolution of any criminal prosecution of person(s) involved in her disappearance.  (Item 54-A) APPROVED

 

Action would halt use of federal block grant funds on loan program for home and business energy retrofits until uncertainties regarding the funding have been resolved.  (Item 54-B)  APPROVED

 

Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich asks small well-water facilities under jurisdiction of the County be tested for total chromium, lead and arsenic to identify trends and changes in the chemical levels during the past 10 years.  (Motion introduced at meeting)  APPROVED
