Lieutenant Daily, Lakewood Station, reports that the eastbound 91 freeway between the Norwalk Boulevard exit and

the 605 FWY, Norwalk, was shut down by deputies. Deputies were handling an armed robbery of a jewelry store call at Pioneer

Boulevard and 187th Street, Artesia. After a brief pursuit, the suspects got out of their car and ran. Deputies are searching for the

suspects in the bushes along the eastbound side of the 91 freeway. An LASD air unit and K-9 units are on scene searching for the

suspects.

Norwalk Station, Compton Station, Cerritos Station, and Pico Rivera Station are all assisting Lakewood Station deputies.
