ANTONOVICH PROPOSES CITY OF COMMERCE ANNEXATION FOR VERNON

 

LOS ANGELES COUNTY – Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich recently sent a letter to Mayor Tina Baca Del Rio of Commerce suggesting the city consider annexing or increasing its sphere of influence over the troubled city of Vernon. 

 

"The residents of Vernon would be well-served by the representation and services offered by the city of Commerce." Antonovich said.  “It is vital that the residents of Vernon continue to receive quality municipal services and not become a cash cow for another city.”
