Sheriff Baca and Homicide Detectives Link Home Invasion Suspect
To Four Killings
Who: Sheriff Baca and Homicide Bureau Detectives, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department; Detective Bill Ritch, Los Angeles Police Department.
What: Sheriff Baca and detectives will hold a press conference to discuss details connecting suspect John Wesley Ewell to four murders in three separate, brazen home invasion robberies in the past few months. Ewell is charged with four counts of murder, in addition to various other charges. Investigators are also requesting the public’s assistance in recovering additional stolen property taken from these murders or undiscovered crimes.
