LA County Department of

Animal Care and Control’s Holiday Hours

 

 

            The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control (DACC) would like to advise the public of its holiday hours for the remainder of 2010.

 

Veteran’s Day

 

Veteran’s Day – Thursday, November 11, 2010: All County shelter locations and the Antelope Valley Adoption Center (Pet Stop) will maintain normal business hours.  Regular shelter hours are 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  The Pet Stop will be open between the hours of 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

 

Thanksgiving

 

Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 25, 2010: All DACC locations will be closed in observance of the holiday.

 

Day after Thanksgiving - Friday, November 26, 2010:  All DACC shelters will be open for limited operations.  Residents may only relinquish animals or pick-up their impounded pet if it is determined to be at the shelter.  The facilities will not be open for adoptions. 

 

Christmas

 

Christmas Eve - Friday, December 24, 2010: All DACC locations will be open 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

 

Christmas Day - Saturday, December 25, 2010: All DACC locations will be closed in observance of the holiday.

 

New Year’s

 

New Year’s Eve - Friday, December 31, 2010: All DACC locations will be open 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

 

New Year’s Day - Saturday, January 1, 2011: All DACC locations will be closed in observance of the holiday.
