Consumers Warned of holiday safety dangers

LOS ANGELES COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT

TO HOST HOLIDAY SAFETY EVENT PROMOTING THE

THE IMPORTANCE OF SAFETY DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASONS

 

 

What:            Los Angeles County Fire Department and members from Southern                                     California Edison, Farmers Insurance, and Wal-Mart Stores have                            created a partnership to discuss and promote important safety                           issues, especially with the Holidays Seasons vastly approaching.

 

Why:               Consumers are often in need of safety information which will serve as a reminder of the potential dangers that often accompany the holiday seasons.  This sometimes will go unnoticed because of our focus on matters pertaining to holiday preparations.  Subject matter experts will discuss safety issues from home fire safety, pedestrian safety, electrical safety, and consumer holiday safety.

 

Who:               Participating in the media briefing will be Captain Michael Brown                            and Marcos Espiritu of Los Angeles County Fire Department, June                                 Chern, District manager of Farmers Insurance, Charlie Basham of                                 Southern California Edison, and Juliette Nam, Regional Human                              Resource Director of Wal-Mart Stores.

Your message is very useful to all. Everyone wish to enjoy their holiday, but a very few are aware of the dangers. Preparation of holidays are much complicated. The more alerts makes the more safety while in holidays.
