L.A. COUNTY COMMUNTY AND SENIOR SERVICES AND THE
CITY OF LOS ANGELES DEPARTMENT OF AGING HOLD STAKEHOLDER MEETINGS ON
SEAMLESS SENIOR SERVICES (S3) INITIATIVE
LOS ANGELES COUNTY –Community and Senior Services (CSS) Director Cynthia Banks today announced that “Stakeholder” meetings will be held to discuss the Seamless Senior Services (S3) Initiative at various locations listed below during the months of November and December 2008.

service model for seniors,” says Banks. “The county is now working on a collaborative effort to identify all existing programs and resources for ‘no wrong door’ access to services for seniors,” she added. County of Los Angeles Chief Executive Officer, William T Fujioka, has asked Banks to lead this countywide effort.
Locations of Seamless Senior Services (S3) Initiative “Stakeholder” Meetings:
The series of Stakeholder meetings will provide senior citizens, caregivers, and other beneficiaries of senior programs, including senior advocacy groups and service providers, an opportunity to comment on County senior programs and proposed recommendations. Public testimony, comments, and written statements are encouraged by attendees.
