COUNTY CREWS WORKING TO REOPEN

BROWN’S CANYON BRIDGE THURSDAY MORNING

LOS ANGELES COUNTY – Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich announced that crews from the County’s Department of Public Works will work through           the night to reopen Brown’s Canyon Bridge in Chatsworth heavily damaged by the Sesnon Fire.   The Bridge serves more than a dozen homes, ranches and equestrian facilities as well the Michael D. Antonovich Regional Park at Joaquin Ranch.

Public Works officials advise that residents that they encounter delays in passing over the bridge in the next several hours as work continues but that construction should be completed by Friday morning.

"We commend the Department of Public Works for fast-tracking the reconstruction of this vital thoroughfare for our residents in the area,” said Supervisor Antonovich.
