CLOSURE OF LOCAL ASSISTANCE CENTER

FOR LOS ANGELES COUNTY FIRE VICTIMS

                         

LOS ANGELES COUNTY – The Los Angeles County Operational Area will close the Dexter Recreation Park Local Assistance Center for fire victims at the close of business (6 p.m.) on Friday, October 24, 2008.  The Dexter Local Assistance Center is located at 11053 N. Trail Rd., Kagel Canyon, 91342. 

 

The Chatsworth Local Assistance Center will continue to assist individuals and business owners.  The Chatsworth Local Assistance Center is located at 21415 Plummer St., Chatsworth, CA 91311.  The phone for the Chatsworth Local Assistance Center is 818-886-9571.

 

Residents may also call 211 LA County for information and referral services regarding post disaster resources that are available for those affected by the wildfires.  The toll-free 2-1-1 number is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  211 services can also be accessed by dialing 1-800-980-4990 or by visiting www.211LACounty.org.
