COUNTY TO PROVIDE FREE TRANSPORTATION
TO HEARING ON MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ACT
LOS ANGELES COUNTY – Los Angeles County will provide free transportation to the County’s Mental Health Commission Meeting informing the public about County and State programs that will be funded under the Mental Health Services Act. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 26, 2009, at St. Anne's Auditorium at 12 noon, announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.
Approved by the voters of California in 2004, Proposition 63, or the Mental Health Services Act gives funding to counties to provide vital services and programs to assist individuals and families with mental health needs.
