RIDLEY-THOMAS NAMES ROSENFELD AS ALTERNATE ON EXPOSITION METRO LIGHT RAIL CONSTRUCTION AUTHORITY

RIDLEY-THOMAS NAMES DAN ROSENFELD

TO SERVE AS ALTERNATE ON EXPOSITION

METRO LIGHT RAIL CONSTRUCTION AUTHORITY

 

LOS ANGELES COUNTY – Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas on Tuesday named Daniel A. Rosenfeld, Senior Deputy responsible for planning, transportation, environment and economic development, to serve as his alternate on the Exposition Metro Light Rail Construction Authority.

 

On October 10, 2003, the Governor of California signed into law the creation of the Exposition Metro Light Rail Construction Authority for the purpose of designing and constructing the Exposition Light Rail.  Upon his swearing-in as Supervisor in on December 2, 2008, Supervisor Ridley-Thomas was appointed as a voting member of the Metro Light Rail Construction Authority, leaving a vacancy in the alternate role. 

 

“With over 35 years of successful private sector assessment and development, Daniel will be an asset as my alternate on the Metro Authority,” Ridley-Thomas said.

 

Mr. Rosenfeld currently assists Supervisor Ridley-Thomas with projects such as planning and transportation and issues to help create employment opportunities through economic development projects with public-private partnerships. He will assume his alternate role immediately, Supervisor Ridley-Thomas said.
