MARINA DEL REY DRAFT SLIP REPORTS AVAILABLE

 

MARINA DEL REY, CALIF. – March 25, 2009 - The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors announced a draft Marina del Rey Slip Sizing Study Report and a draft Slip Pricing and Vacancy Study Report are available for review on the home page of the Department’s website at marinadelrey.lacounty.gov.

Highlights of the reports include changes in boat berth distributions, Marina del Rey reconfigured marinas and proposed Marina reconfigurations, boat berth slip demand, pricing trends in Marina del Rey and other Southern California marinas, and vacancy trend and amenity patterns in Marina del Rey.  

Public input regarding the reports can be e-mailed to pwong@bh.lacounty.gov.  When sending e-mails, please write in the subject line “Comments to Draft Slip Sizing Report” or “Comments to Draft Slip Pricing and Vacancy Report.”  Comments regarding the reports can also be submitted at the upcoming Small Craft Harbor Commission meeting held on April 8th, 9:30 a.m. in the Burton Chace Park Community Room located at 13650 Mindanao Way, Marina del Rey.  For further information, contact the Department of Beaches and Harbors at (310) 305-9503.
