PARENTS TO RECEIVE DIPLOMAS

AT THE EAST LOS ANGELES PARENT PROJECT GRADUATION CEREMONY

LOS ANGELES COUNTY – The Parent Project Graduation Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at City Terrace Park, located at 1126 North Hazard Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90063. Judges from the Eastlake Juvenile Court will distribute certificates of completion to 250 parents.

The East Los Angeles Parent Project Program has helped more than 1500 parents to regain control of their strong-willed and out-of-control teenagers. The program teaches parents effective intervention and prevention techniques to assist their children in growing into safe and competent adults.

 

The East Los Angeles Parent Project Program is a collaborative program by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department – East Los Angeles Station, the Los Angeles County Probation Department, the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation and the Eastside Boys and Girls Club.
