L.A. County Human Relations Commission Unveils the Latest Hate Crime Stats
WHO: Robin S. Toma, Executive Director, Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations; Dr. Sandra Thomas, Human Relations Commission President; L.A. County Sheriff Lee Baca; Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center CEO Lorri Jean, and the victim of a recent hate crime.
WHAT: The Los Angeles County Human Relations Commission will release its 2008 Hate Crime Report. The report provides analysis of the hate crime data collected by all 47 law enforcement agencies in L.A. County, school districts and community-based organizations, including white supremacist activity and gang-involved hate violence.
