Lancaster, CA--- The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control (DACC) is having its first A.V. Pet Stop Reunion. Previous Pet Stop adopters (as well as members of the surrounding communities) have been invited to return back to the place where they found their furry friend. This time around, previous adopters are being encouraged to bring a family member and/or friend to the Pet Stop.
On Saturday, November 21, 2009, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, DACC will host the Reunion, and will be raffling prizes including: baskets full of pet treats and toys, a $50 Wal-Mart gift basket, a Thanksgiving turkey, and even an iPod. The raffles will take place at 12:00 pm, 1:30 pm, 3:00 pm, and
at 4:30 pm.
Every person that attends the event will automatically receive a raffle ticket. If the person brings a friend or family member, they will receive an additional ticket. If a friend of family member adopts, the individual who brought him or her will receive another raffle ticket, totaling three tickets. Anyone who adopts this day will receive three raffle tickets.
A.V. Pet Stop is full of adoptable dogs just waiting to go home with a new family. All dogs at the Pet Stop are already spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and are immediately available to go home the same day.
