The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department welcomes the news media to attend a press conference

concluding the Gulf States, European, and North American Law Enforcement Symposium. This

conference—the first of its kind in Los Angeles—is an exemplary international and inter-agency effort to

exchange information about policing. Through this event, police executives and officials participate in

an open dialogue intended to better understand each other's successes and challenges to reduce

mistrust and provide a higher level of public safety, for enhanced international law enforcement

cooperation.

The press conference on November 5th will be an opportunity for presenters to share the content of the

symposium.
