Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley will distribute holiday gifts to victims of crime on Friday, Dec. 18, as part of the District Attorney's 25th Annual Holiday Giving Drive.

The event will begin at 10:30 a.m., in the District Attorney's 18th floor conference room, Foltz Criminal Justice Center, 210 West Temple St., Los Angeles.

Gift recipients attending the news conference include the families of two murder victims and a family whose 11-month-old baby girl was killed by a drunken driver who had become intoxicated at a Super Bowl Party.

The District Attorney's Office will provide gifts to more than 200 families, including more than 550 children, who were victims of devastating crimes. Families are nominated by members of the District Attorney's staff. D.A. investigators deliver the gifts to homes throughout Los Angeles County.
