Alfieri appointed to Small Craft Commission

NEW FIFTH DISTRICT COMMISSIONER APPOINTED TO

SMALL CRAFT HARBOR COMMISSION 

MARINA DEL REY, CALIF. – February 11, 2009 – Michael D. Antonovich, Los Angeles County Supervisor, Fifth District, announced the appointment of Dennis Victor Alfieri to the Small Craft Harbor Commission in Marina del Rey.

Alfieri, is Principal of Bantry Property Services, LLC, raising venture capital, organizing limited partnerships and processing government entitlements.  Previously, he was President of Oak Knoll Group, Inc. with projects including the A/M Gateway Retail Shopping Center in Monrovia, California; The Irwindale Speedway; and development of Twin Palms Restaurants in Pasadena and Newport Beach.  He has served several Presidential Appointments including Member of The Commission of Presidential Scholars and Delegate to The White House Conference on Small Business.

Currently, he participates in community organizations including the Los Angeles County Housing Authority; Pasadena Tournament of Roses; California Earthquake Authority Advisory Board; California Museum of Science and Industry and the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association.

Alfieri is a graduate of the University of Southern California receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration.  He resides in Pasadena, California with his wife, Missy, and their four children.
