Friday event -- active shooter training

LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT’S COMMUNITY COLLEGE BUREAU CONDUCTS       "ACTIVE  SHOOTER" TRAINING

WHO: LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT’S COMMUNITY COLLEGE BUREAU AND SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT BUREAU PERSONNEL.

WHAT: THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT'S COMMUNITY COLLEGE BUREAU AND SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT BUREAU (SEB) ARE TAKING A PROACTIVE STANCE BY HOSTING AN ACTIVE SHOOTER TRAINING EXERCISE. SEB TEAM MEMBERS WILL ACT AS FACILITATORS IN SEVERAL SEPARATE ACTIVE SHOOTER SCENARIOS SIMULATING AN ACTIVE SHOOTER ON THE LOS ANGELES HARBOR COLLEGE CAMPUS. THE SCHOOL’S STUDENTS AND DISTRICT EMPLOYEES WILL ACT AS ROLE PLAYERS TO SIMULATE VICTIMS AND BYSTANDERS OF A CAMPUS SHOOTING.
