IT’S TIME TO CLEAN OUT YOUR MEDICINE CABINET
WHO: SHERIFF LEE BACA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT;

WHAT: THE “SAFE DRUG DROP-OFF” PROGRAM, PRESENTED BY THE
LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, WILL PROVIDE A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR RESIDENTS TO SAFELY AND ANONYMOUSLY DROP-OFF EXPIRED OR UNUSED PRESCRIPTIONS, OVER-THE-COUNTER MEDICATIONS, SYRINGES (SHARPS), AND ANY OTHER CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES. THE GOALS OF THE PROGRAM INCLUDE PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT AND ENSURING THE SAFETY OF THE PUBLIC.
