JO ANNE DARCY COUNTY LIBRARY TO receive IMPROVEMENTS

 

 

LOS ANGELES COUNTY – To improve library access for the residents of the Santa Clarita Valley, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors unanimously moved to lease an additional 4,500 square feet of office space and ten additional parking spaces to expand services for the Jo Anne Darcy County Library in Santa Clarita, announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.

 

At a cost of nearly $2.5 million, improvements will include: new ceiling tile, carpeting, painting, lighting and ductwork, modifications to the young adult area, two study rooms, an audio-visual system for the community meeting room, new furniture and computer work stations.
