Miniature donkey visits county supervisors this morning

If you are looking for a "brite,"    we have a cute presentation at the LA County Board of Supervisors today.

Gidget, a 4-month-old, 29" miniature donkey will be visiting from the LA County Fair to publicize the opening fo the fair this Saturday.   Gidget, who weighs 50 pounds and will be wearing a diaper, will be carried by her  handler  Sky Shivers.  I am told Gidget will do just fine as she is  a trained professional, making appearances at schools and other venues.

The ceremony proclaiming September as Los Angeles County Fair Month will be held near the beginning of the meeting, which is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m.
