Who: | Shallyne Sarkissian, a 32-year old Armenian mother, battled years of substance abuse before reunifying with her daughter with the support of the San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center. Today, Shallyne remains sober, employed and most importantly, enjoys a wonderful relationship with her daughter. Francis Flan, a 33-year old mother of 6 will discuss how domestic violence resulted in her children being removed from her care. The San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center supported her to regain custody of her children, provided therapeutic services and improved her parenting skills.
