Supervisor Don Knabe will Host the 14th Annual
Pancake Breakfast and Family Fishing Derby at La Mirada Park
WHAT: Fourth Supervisorial District Supervisor, Don Knabe and The Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation will host the 14th Annual Knabe Katch “Family Fishing Day” at the La Mirada Lake. Approximately 1,200, youth and their parents are expected to attend this year’s event. More than 100 volunteers will be available to assist and mentor the youth from the local Junior League organization. A free pancake breakfast will be prepared by the Kiwanis Club. Participating partners include the California Department of Fish and Game and the City of La Mirada who will provide free educational stations, bate and a limited number of fishing rods that will be available on loan.
