Campaign HQ Grand Opening, San Pedro Rally, and 1,000 Autographs

Campaign HQ Grand Opening, San Pedro Rally, and 1,000 Autographs

You are cordially invited, and, indeed, urged, to come to the grand opening of my Campaign Headquarters this Saturday, November 8, 2008, between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. It's in the red brick building at 6534 Wilshire Boulevard, L.A., 90048. Please use the street parking, not the lot, or you may experience the joy of mass transit for your trip home.

You'll be able to get a yard sign, bumper sticker, lapel pin and maybe even a hat and t-shirt to help spread the word. And, if you're a registered voter who lives in the City of Los Angeles, may I have your autograph? I need 1,000 signatures of registered voters who live in the City of L.A. on official petitions to put my name on the ballot.

You are also invited to my San Pedro Rally, at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the Doubletree Hotel, 2800 Via Cabrillo Marina, San Pedro, 90731. We'll have the petition ready for qualified people who haven't already signed it, along with yard signs, bumper stickers, etc. And as if that weren't enough, we'll also have Rob Marinko himself, whom you know from the McIntyre in the Morning show on KABC 790.

You say you can't make it to either event? Don't despair. Moore's Corps volunteers all over town have agreed to let you pick up yard signs and bumper stickers, and sign the petition at their homes. How nice is that? To take them up on their gracious offer, just go to the Yard Signs page at my website, WalterMooreForMayor.com, and click the button for the location closest to you.

Thanks again for your support, and for helping to spread the word. We have raised over $180,000 -- more than enough to qualify for matching funds. But we need every dollar we can get, because we're going to need to buy all the advertising we can.

Besides contributing money, you can make a huge difference by putting a yard sign in your yard, and a sticker on your bumper.

And if you can stand it, please click here to join Moore's Corps, my volunteer group, because beginning in January, we're going to initiate some serious door-to-door flyer delivering. Think of it as a two-for-one: you'll get a better Mayor while also keeping your New Year's resolution to exercise more.

Thanks again. We are going to fix this city. We can't be stopped.
