ANTONOVICH ENCOURAGES FIRE VICTIMS TO USE

CAUTION SORTING THROUGH DAMAGED HOMES

 

Fire Safety Kits Available for Fire Victims

 

 

LOS ANGELES COUNTY – Victims of recent fires face toxic hazards as they return home to rebuild and search for personal possessions.  Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich encourages victims to exercise caution and utilize masks, gloves and other protective measures. 

 

The South Coast Air Quality Management District has assembled safety kits for victims of the Sayre fire.  The kits will be available at the Local Assistance Center which opens Thursday at the Fillmore Recreation Center, 13109 Borden Street in Sylmar.
