ANTONOVICH & MOLINA ENSURE UTILITY TAX REVENUES CONTINUE TO PROVIDE VITAL MUNICIPAL SERVICES TO COUNTY RESIDENTS

      

Measure U Was Passed Overwhelmingly by the County’s Unincorporated Communities

                 

LOS ANGELES COUNTY – A motion by Los Angeles County Supervisors Michael D. Antonovich and Gloria Molina directing the Chief Executive Officer to report back in the proposed 2009-2010 budget with a plan to allocate the utility user tax revenues in accordance with the intent of Measure U was unanimously approved by the Board of Supervisors.   

 

“We must keep faith with the community and ensure that the revenues generated by it will be used for law enforcement, park /library operations, street repairs, community services and infrastructure needs,” said Antonovich.
