ANTONOVICH DENOUNCES STATE TAX INCREASE PLAN

                         

LOS ANGELES COUNTY – Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich issued the following statement denouncing the State’s new tax increase plan:

“The State needs to focus on eliminating waste and duplication – not raising taxes.  California’s financial mess is a direct result of a bloated state government and overspending.  Vital reforms need to include implementing a 2 year budget, a part time legislature, and an end to introducing legislation which cost more than the funds that are provided to local government.“
