SUPERVISOR RIDLEY-THOMAS TO ATTEND COMMUNITY
MEETING TONIGHT IN CARSON TO DISCUSS ENVIRONMENTAL INVESTIGATION AT FORMER KAST OIL RESERVOIR
LOS ANGELES – Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas will address community concerns tonight at a public meeting in Carson hosted by the state California Environmental Protection Agency to update affected residents on preliminary findings of an environmental investigation at the former Kast Oil Reservoir.
WHAT: Residents of the affected area will be provided an update on the testing of soil and groundwater at the former oil reservoir and be given an opportunity to speak to officials involved in the environmental investigation.
The agenda includes discussion of health concerns and upcoming environmental activities.
