SHERIFF TO receive GRANT TO REDUCE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY CRIMES IN THE COUNTY

 

 

LOS ANGELES COUNTY –To enhance the Sheriff’s Department ability to combat intellectual property crimes in the County, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a $200,000 from the United States Department of Justice for the Sheriff’s Department’s Counterfeit and Piracy Enforcement Team Program (CAPE), announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.

 

The funds will be used to teams of Community Oriented Policing Services Bureau investigators to identify, investigate, and prepare intellectual property crimes for prosecution.
