More than ten years after his passing a historic hate crimes bill expansion bearing his name sits awaiting the signature of the President. Matthew’s mother joins Patt to share her story about her son's life, his death, and her dedication to the fight for equal rights for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.

What has happened in the last year that has caused the public to grow increasingly skeptical? If less people believe in global warming then why is there more support than opposition to setting limits on carbon emissions?
