     MARINA DEL REY 48th ANNUAL HOLIDAY BOAT PARADE 

              AND FIREWORKS SHOW

 

WHAT:                       Marina del Rey’s Annual Holiday Boat Parade kicks off Saturday, Dec. 11 preceded by a spectacular fireworks show over the main channel.  Grand Marshal DJ Larry Morgan from 100.3 FM, The Sound, leads the parade on the Grand Marshal vessel My Susy.  Theme for the 2010 Boat Parade is “A Rock ‘n Roll Christmas”.

 

WHO:                         Barry Williams, Brittany Wagner, Miss California International 2011, Yogi Bear and Boo Boo from the new Warner Brothers movie will be in the Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade.  

                       

WHERE:                    Main Channel – Marina del Rey, California

 

Viewing & announcing location:  Burton Chace Park, Marina del Rey – 13650 Mindanao Way off the Marina (90) Freeway – Free to the public with Boat Parade announcers Lisa Osborne from Los Angeles radio station KFWB-AM News Talk 980 and local television personality Mickey Laszlo

 

Viewing location:  Fisherman’s Village – 13755 Fiji Way, Marina del Rey – Free to the public

 

Free parking and free boat launching is available at Los Angeles County public parking lots throughout Marina del Rey from 3 pm – midnight
