TODAY EVENT: BOARD OF EDUCATION HONORS BACA

 

 

Los Angeles County Board of Education to Honor Sheriff Baca for

Service and Leadership on Behalf of Schools

 

Who:               Sheriff Lee Baca, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department; President Thomas A. Saenz, Vice President Douglas R. Boyd, Interim Superintendant of Schools, Jon R. Gundry,  Los Angeles County Board of Education.

 

What:              Sheriff Baca will be presented with a special resolution from the Los Angeles County Board of Education for his years of dedicated service and his commitment and vision in the area of education.  Sheriff Baca has promoted secondary and higher education not only for deputies, staff members and other employees of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, but also for inmates at all of the Department’s correctional facilities.
