County Health Services Department to Respond to Serious Patient Care Allegations at Olive View –UCLA Medical Center

 

 

WHAT:           Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS) executive Carol Meyer and medical leaders from Olive View-UCLA Medical Center will hold a news conference to respond to allegations made about quality of care in the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

 

Meyer will address the hospital’s investigation and findings related to the anonymous allegations.  On Monday, the hospital submitted findings of the investigation to The Joint Commission, a national hospital accrediting agency.

(DIRECTIONS: News Conference will be held in the parking lot adjacent to the new Emergency Department. (West on the 210 freeway) Exit on Roxford, turn right.  Street turns into Olive View Drive.  Turn left on Kennedy Drive and proceed to end.  Turn right into the parking lot.
