Sheriff Baca stands with Senator Boxer to discuss the need for re-introduction of the Federal Assault Weapons Ban

 

Who:                Sheriff Lee Baca, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and United States Senator Barbara Boxer.

 

What:               Sheriff Baca and Senator Barbara Boxer will discuss the need for the re-introduction of the Federal Assault Weapons Ban.  The original ban on Assault weapons expired on September 13, 2004.  Nineteen models of firearms are identified by name as being “Assault Weapons”.  There will be several of these weapons on display and cases that highlight the guns used in criminal activity will be discussed.
