SHERIFF BACA AND VICTIM’S FAMILY MEMBERS PLEAD FOR THE PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE

IN SOLVING THE BRAZEN MURDER OF A RETIRED COUNTY EMPLOYEE

 

 

Who:               Sheriff Lee Baca and Homicide Bureau detectives, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

 

What:              Sheriff Baca and Homicide Bureau detectives will discuss the details about the brazen murder and robbery of Hanna Morcos, which occurred in the city of Hawthorne on September 24, 2010.  They are asking for the public’s assistance in obtaining any information regarding this case or the identity of the suspect.  Victim Morcos was employed by Los Angeles County for 25 years and retired from the Department of Treasurer and Tax Collector.  Victim Morcos was tied up, terrorized and murdered in the early afternoon.
