Pasadena Unified School District Election -- ballot drop off locations

CONVENIENT SATELLITE BALLOT DROP OFF LOCATIONS FOR VOTERS IN

PASADENA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT SPECIAL PARCEL TAX ELECTION

Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean Logan is reminding voters that satellite ballot drop off locations will be available to voters in the May 4, 2010 Pasadena Unified School District Special Parcel Tax Election.  The following locations will be open on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.:

·       Pasadena City Hall – Rotunda

100 N Garfield Avenue

Pasadena, CA  91109

·       Metropolitan Baptist Church

2283 Fair Oaks Blvd.

Altadena, CA  91001

·       Sierra Madre Library

- Front Entrance (7a.m. – 12 p.m.)

- Reference Room (12 p.m. – 8 p.m.)

440 W. Sierra Madre Blvd.

Sierra Madre, CA  91024

Note: These are not voting locations RR/CC staff will be on hand to accept voted ballots only.  After 8:00 p.m., the staff at each location will secure the ballot box and deliver it with the voted ballots to the RR/CC Headquarters in Norwalk.

Voters are reminded that all voted ballots must be received by the RR/CC by May 4, 2010, no later than 8 p.m., whether returning the ballot by mail to the RR/CC or dropping it off at one of the satellite ballot drop-off locations.

 

Voters in the district, who have not received a Vote by Mail ballot, should call the RR/CC, Vote by Mail Section, at (562) 466-1323.  Voters can verify if they live within the Pasadena Unified School District on the RR/CC website www.lavote.net, by clicking the Voter & Election Information tab, then clicking on Locate My District link.

 
Voters who misplace or damage their Official Vote by Mail ballot and/or Sample Ballot booklet, may obtain a replacement by contacting

the RR/CC, Vote by Mail Unit, at (562) 466-1323 or in person at the RR/CC Headquarters, 12400 Imperial Hwy., Norwalk, CA 90650 prior

to Election Day.  Voters may also access the sample ballot contents interactively on the RR/CC website www.lavote.net and clicking View

Sample Ballot in the Online Services box of the main page.
