LA County Public Health offers training to health care professionals to
address racial health care disparities
WHAT: The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health will offer an
invitation-only training session to health care professionals aimed at
identifying cultural, linguistic and literacy issues that contribute to
health care disparities along racial and cultural lines.
Before the training, members of the press are invited to attend
as Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas and Public Health Director Dr. Jonathan
Fielding deliver welcoming remarks.
