La Crescenta Library Celebrates Grand Opening

LA CRESCENTA LIBRARY

CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING

WITH A DEDICATION CEREMONY

 

(LA CRESCENTA) – The La Crescenta Library, 2809 Foothill Boulevard, La Crescenta celebrates the grand opening of a new, larger library with a dedication ceremony on Friday, January 29.  The festivities will take place from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. with music and free refreshments for the entire family.  The dedication program begins at 2:30 p.m.         


The community is also invited to a “Day of Entertainment” with special programming on Saturday, January 30 from 12 Noon to 4:30 p.m. at the La Crescenta Library.

 

The new 15,000-square-foot, two-story library features separate adult and children’s sections with more books and materials, a community meeting room, study rooms, 20 additional public Internet computers and WiFi access.

 

The $14.6 million La Crescenta Library project was funded by Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich with additional funding from Congressman David Dreier, 26th Congressional District.
