Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe to Dedicate

New Fitness Zone at Cerritos Park

 

WHAT:        Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation and Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe will dedicate a new state of the art fitness zone to the Cerritos community at Cerritos Regional Park. The nine piece outdoor fitness area is designed for park patrons’ ages 14 and older. It includes stationary pull-up bars, a cross country ski machine, arm press, dual pendulum and leg press. The $55,000 project will provide moderate to high-impact resistance exercises and contribute to the improvement of physical health for the community free of charge.
